Clapham

< BACK TO PROJECTS

This project converted four flats back into one house, as it was originally built. We worked closely with the architects, who also happened to be the clients, to deliver this stunning Victorian house conversion in Clapham Common.

There were major structural changes that proved a real challenge due to the ground conditions, like lowering the basement level to create more head height and removing most of the centre of the house to accommodate the new, modern layout.

We also retained and overhauled the beautiful existing staircase and undertook a full M&E design and install to all levels.

A mix of oak flooring and micro cement was used throughout the house, and mosaic tiles in all bathrooms to keep the elegantly aesthetic design.

ARCHITECT & DIRECTOR AT SODA STUDIO

'I recently worked with Hawksmoor on the refurbishment of a residential property in London. Paul was my main point of contact & I found him honest, reliable, responsive & professional. He has a great eye for detail & never compromises on quality. I felt that we were working collaboratively towards a common goal. The project is complete, the quality is exceptional & I couldn't be happier. I also worked closely with the team on site. They were great to deal with & showed a high level of skill. The site was always tidy and run professionally''
